Job Description

ProArch is seeking a highly experienced Sr. T-SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced T-SQL queries and database solutions that drive our business applications. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize data handling and ensure high performance and scalability of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support business logic.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
Analyze and improve database performance by tuning existing queries and database structures.
Participate in database design and data modeling efforts.
Troubleshoot and resolve SQL-related performance issues and errors.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain quality standards.
Document database designs, changes, and procedures clearly for future reference.
Stay updated on the latest T-SQL and SQL Server features, ensuring our solutions leverage current capabilities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in T-SQL development and SQL Server management.
Proficient in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Strong experience with SQL Server performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.
Experience with SQL Server integration services (SSIS) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is an advantage.
