Senior Systems Analyst

This position is contingent on contract award

First Division Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer in Dahlgren, VA . This position requires expertise in system analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting to optimize business and technical system requirements .

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise architecture, database management, testing, and reporting , along with proficiency in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and enterprise architecture tools such as IBM's System Architect.

• Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and configuration to enhance IT system efficiency.
• Research, analyze, and document business and technical requirements to support system development.
• Develop and manage procedures, workflows, and technical documentation to streamline operations.
• Perform application testing and validation to ensure functionality aligns with system requirements.
• Provide database management support , including performance tuning and optimization.
• Utilize DoDAF and enterprise architecture tools to design and document system architectures.
• Generate reports and data analytics to support decision-making and performance evaluation.
• Develop and deliver training sessions for personnel on system updates, best practices, and compliance.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Six (6) years of professional experience in:
• Implementation of business and technical requirements .
• System analysis, planning, and development .
• Application testing and database management support .
• Experience with DoDAF and enterprise architecture tools , such as IBM's System Architect .
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• One of the following IT certifications:
• CASP+ (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)
• CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional Security)
• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in DoD or government IT environments .
• Familiarity with cloud-based system architectures and cybersecurity compliance frameworks .
• Strong background in data analysis, system performance monitoring, and IT governance .
