Senior Staff Accountant

What you are accountable for:

The Senior Staff Accountant is accountable for managing the regional balance sheet, ensuring proper classification of all operating expenses, and responsible for ensuring payroll is processed semi-monthly. This role will work closely with the Global Controller to provide valuable information to business leaders, as well as ensure the timely completion of our annual audits and tax returns.

What you are responsible for:

Own balance sheet accounts and maintain reconciliations for all balances within our FloQast system.

Conduct initial preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and posting of adjusting journals as needed.

Partner with the People Team to ensure payrolls are accurately entered into payroll platforms and approved on deadline.

Process monthly payroll journal entries and pension contributions.

Establish state tax registrations as needed

Collaborate with the Global Controller to ensure timely completion of audits as required.

Collaborate with international subsidiaries to ensure all intercompany balances are fully reconciled and settled on a timely basis.

Conduct initial review of all P&L Operating & other expenses and analysis vs budget/forecast.

Collaborate with Client Finance to ensure all client balances (WIP, Deferred Media & Fees) are fully reconciled and support revenue recognition.

Assist the Global Controller with preparation and presentation of monthly financial results to senior staff.

Generate financial reports for review with Client Finance and senior management.

Key contributor within the media and financial management systems to assure accurate and timely data.

Other ad-hoc reporting requirements.

Your salary is based upon the skills and experience you bring along with the salary range established for your role. The base salary range for this role is $85,400-$98,300. Compensation is determined by location and prior experience.
