One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer (Automation Testing) in India .

This role is perfect for someone passionate about software quality, automation, and innovation. You'll join a remote-first, global tech environment, collaborating with diverse teams to test cutting-edge features in the insurtech space. As a Senior QA Engineer, you'll lead automation efforts, enhance testing frameworks, and help shape the quality standards of a rapidly growing product. You'll work closely with product and development teams to identify bugs, define test strategies, and push for continuous improvement in testing practices and infrastructure. Accountabilities:

• Design and execute automated test cases for web-based applications, ensuring robust and efficient coverage.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks, making them scalable and reusable.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to clarify requirements and validate new features.
• Identify bugs, investigate root causes, and propose long-term solutions to recurring issues.
• Define comprehensive test plans for features and projects while documenting scenarios and edge cases.
• Build and manage custom test frameworks tailored to specific product components.
• Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and infrastructure for better performance and scalability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in automation testing within an agile development environment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript testing tools like Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Selenium, Puppeteer, or similar.
• Experience building test automation from scratch and improving existing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of test design patterns and testing best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver scalable test solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English and strong collaboration mindset.
• A passion for quality, continuous learning, and modern approaches to testing.
