This is a remote opportunity for a seasoned software engineer eager to make a meaningful impact in healthcare technology. You'll be part of a collaborative team building customer-facing, web-based applications designed to improve care coordination. The role involves working across the entire tech stack, designing new features, maintaining and enhancing current ones, and participating in strategic planning for future software products. Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
• Build new product features while enhancing and maintaining existing functionalities
• Contribute to long-term architecture planning and software scalability
• Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and uphold best development practices
• Ensure high standards of performance, security, and reliability across all applications
• Engage in agile ceremonies and continuously contribute to team process improvements

Requirements

• 58+ years of experience in Java or similar OOP languages, with a BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 35+ years of hands-on Python development
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, ORM frameworks)
• Experience with AWS and serverless computing (Lambda, S3, etc.)
• Familiarity with Spring Boot (Java) and modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)
• Understanding of microservices and RESTful APIs
• Excellent analytical skills and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset
• Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with minimal supervision
