Senior Software Engineer

Our client in the optical measurement systems industry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the software development team supporting various functional areas. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for software development, and experience in control or data acquisition systems.

What's the Job?

Develop complex control software for optical measurement systems with stringent performance requirements in a multi-disciplinary team

Support all software development phases for specific subcomponents and functional areas from path finding to field deployment

Responsible for software design, implementation, code quality, unit test development, simulator and system testing

Collaborate with other subject matter experts to continuously improve system reliability, fault detection, and performance

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related fields

Proficiency in C# development with Visual Studio

Experience with WPF, WinForms or WCF desired

5 years of experience developing software for control or data acquisition systems

Working knowledge of light sources, cameras, image processing, motion control and optimization algorithms
