Role reporting into: QA Manager

Location: Bangalore, India

Key Responsibilities

Design, development, and maintenance of both manual and automated tests.

Managing and monitoring the test schedule and resources to deliver on time.

Sharing daily status reports to manager and weekly status report to stakeholders.

Managing test automation and test execution for multiple projects simultaneously.

Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks, tools and infrastructure.

Writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing including performance and identifying, reporting, and troubleshooting defects in the product.

Collaborating with developers to resolve defects and ensure that the software meets quality standards. Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on software design and implementation. Keeping up-to-date with new testing techniques, technologies, and tools, and recommending improvements to the testing process.

Requirements

You will excel at this role, if you have

Strong Experience in Python, web services, HTML, XML, and experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or GCP.

Experience in designing and building scalable automated test frameworks and test suites, working across technologies and analyzing the logs for failures and resolving in shortest time.

Experience in optimizing application performance and troubleshooting runtime issues along with Participation in architectural and design discussions and ownership of project deliverables.

Strong experience in Agile development methodologies and utilizing technologies such as GIT,

Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, and PowerMock for Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery.

Experience in manual testing & performance testing, analyzing test logs, creating test reports and keeping the manager updated on the progress on a regular basis.

Experience with Open Source Performance Testing Tools like Locust or JMeter. Also, experience with Golang, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.

Streaming Media Industry Experience or Server Side Ad Insertion industry experience is desired.

Preferred Work Experience: 2 - 6 Years

Education/Qualifications: BE/BTech/MTech
