Resource Innovations is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our growing team in Chicago, IL. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Program Manager with a strong background in Commercial and Industrial energy efficiency program design and implementation to join our dynamic team. As Senior Program Manager, you will lead a team of outreach, operations, technical and marketing professionals to deliver large-scale programming and exceed client goals and expectations. The Senior Program Manager will play a highly visible role both internally and externally and will be responsible for developing and delivering short and long-term implementation plans, budgets and forecasts; leading cross-functional program implementation activities; and developing trusted relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and program contacts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages and develops program design including the development of work plans to meet goals, aligning staff assignments, managing programs to goal, and providing accurate forecasting both internally and to clients.
  • Delivers successful large-budget energy efficiency programs to utility client(s) per contract terms and program budgets.
  • Identifies, defines, quantifies, tracks and drives program deliverables to be submitted accurately and on time.
  • Continuously assesses project progress to goal and develops innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics.
  • Manages, leads, and mentors a dynamic team by setting and reviewing performance standards and objectives for direct reports and creates effective delivery teams.
  • Develops, manages, and fosters partnerships with subcontractors, community partners, and other industry affiliates/stakeholders.
  • Manages client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and resolves and/or escalates client issues.
  • Interfaces with key internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Finance and HR to develop efficiencies to meet program needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to greater Chicago, IL area within 30 days of acceptance
  • A Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business, energy, engineering or related field of study required; a Master's degree in a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience in energy-efficiency or a related field required
  • 3+ years of direct supervisory experience
  • Proven success in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets and plans
  • Previous contract development and negotiation experience
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $92,473 - $140,000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This range may be exceeded for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.

Employment with Resource Innovations is contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and reference check. If applicable to the position, a pre-employment drug screen may also be required.
