What You'll do?

Cisco Provider Connectivity Networking Group is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the definition, strategy, and go to market of hardware solutions tailored for large-scale hyperscaler customers.

Web architectures are evolving rapidly, and the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current datacenter frontend, AI backend, DCI, backbone and web-Edge network roles.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle?from ideation/inception and prioritization through engineering execution all while maintaining close interaction with key customers. At Cisco, Product Managers are empowered and trusted to lead the strategic direction of a product line, influence the market, and be the BU liason for sales and the customer.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities:

A strong sense of product ownership paired with an innate curiosity that allows for continual learning and sharing of new networking concepts and user stories. Ability to translate these into clear and concise product requirements that can be objectively prioritized.

A solid background and understanding in network system design and the tradeoffs involved in defining new products

Ability to collaborate, lead, and perform under pressure both in front of the customer and internal R&D teams.

Ability to identify growth opportunities and craft business cases to drive product investments.

Who You'll Work With

You will collaborate closely with other product managers, BU leadership, customers, sales, engineering, and marketing teams to help design, develop, and take to market groundbreaking switching and routing products.

Minimum Requirements for This Role:

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of experience in Product Management roles.

2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Service Provider Networking, Enterprise Networking, or Data Center Networking.

Strong analytical skills to deconstruct complex problems into manageable pieces.

Exceptional listening, written, and spoken communication skills to engage effectively with key stakeholders and articulate complex issues clearly.
