For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior PHP Backend Engineer , remotely from anywhere .

As a Senior PHP Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative features, optimize system performance, and enhance the overall user experience. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code while ensuring best practices in software development. You will work in a fast-paced environment, deploying updates frequently and continuously improving backend infrastructure. Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using PHP.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of backend applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to implement new features.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and security issues.

Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development with PHP and modern frameworks.
• Proven experience in designing and optimizing large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching solutions.
