Senior Paralegal Business Litigation & Ip

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. (CSK) is hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Miami office. This on-site role is ideal for a skilled professional who can support attorneys in complex litigation and transactional matters from inception through trial.

To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must have the following:

Requirements:

• 5+ years of paralegal experience (business litigation, intellectual property, or complex commercial matters preferred)
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree required
• Experience in federal and state litigation
• Strong knowledge of court procedures, calendaring deadlines, and electronic filings
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER, and legal research tools
• Experience with Teams, Zoom, and presentation software

Litigation Skills:

• Drafting, proofreading, and filing pleadings
• Organizing voluminous case files and managing discovery
• Trial preparation, including creating evidence binders and managing exhibits
• Bate stamping and document review

Preferred Additional Experience:

• USPTO and TTAB filings
• Contract review and summary
• Legal research and memo drafting
• Transactional support
• Due diligence and background investigations
• E-discovery and coordination with opposing counsel

Please note: This is an on-site position. Remote work is not available. Candidates must currently reside in South Florida to be considered.
