Senior .Net Developer

Qualified candidates will have the following skill sets:

Work successfully in team environments and also while leading individual development initiatives to further the project

Interact with other software engineers and technical leaders to understand subsystem and component specifications and recommend changes to facilitate efficient and effective development.

Work with the team to understand existing requirements and application design

Consistently implement stable, efficient code conforming to project coding standards, working within a defined architecture

Implement unit tests and functional tests

Participate in code reviews; present code to the team for review and effectively review the code of other team members to ensure all accepted code meets team standards and accurately realizes requirements and design

Contribute to and participate in component design and design reviews

Support existing applications in production

Possess excellent troubleshooting skills

Build and maintain highly available systems

Basic Requirements

Experienced professional with Windows/Web application development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, and Microsoft Azure

Some experience with Linq and Linq-toSQL

Medium to advanced skill in raw C# language skills, including recursion, exception handling and the basics of threading

Comfortable with OO concepts ?designing and consuming multi-level inheritance, develop and consume interfaces

Medium to advanced skill in

MSSQL ? can work with tables, joins, views, some knowledge of stored procedures / user defined functions

Some experience with Typescript

Pluses (nice to have but not required)

MSSQL - Optimization for space, memory usage and speed

Knowledge of C# memory management and object lifecycle

Experience working with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Experience with DevExpress component suite

Experience working with dtSearch search engine
