They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take part in the design, analysis, and manufacturing of their vehicles and subsystems. You will have 5+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience ideally in the space industry.
Requirements
Core responsibilities
- Create metallic frameworks and propulsion fluid networks with expedited schedules.
- Examine engineering data and specs to formulate mechanical systems.
- Revise designs and drawings via engineering change orders to align with swift design evolution.
- Develop intricate component and assembly drawings, considering GD&T and tolerance stack-ups.
Required
- B.S. in a Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience
- Experience with Solidworks
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
- Experience with spacecraft design
Ideal candidate
- Experience with welded structures and fluid systems
- Ability to manage large assembly models and drawings
- Hands-on experience designing hardware in a highly constrained system under defined timelines
