One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Liability Claims Adjuster in the United States .

This fully remote position is ideal for an experienced claims professional skilled in handling complex liability cases involving litigation. You will oversee high-severity losses from start to finish, conducting investigations, collaborating with attorneys and claimants, and driving fair settlements. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient problem solver with exceptional negotiation and communication skills, ready to serve as both a contributor and a mentor within a dynamic, customer-focused team. This is a desk-based role that plays a vital part in delivering a best-in-class claims experience.

Accountabilities:

  • Independently handle complex liability claims, including those involving litigation, from initial investigation to resolution.
  • Conduct in-depth policy reviews, record statements, assign inspections, manage reserves, and collaborate with legal experts.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders, including customers, attorneys, and internal teams.
  • Maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Support catastrophe claims handling efforts and participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in property and/or liability claims handling.
  • At least 3 years managing homeowners or commercial liability claims involving litigation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and investigative skills.
  • Full understanding of homeowner's liability policies, including Section II coverage.
  • Active adjuster license in home state or eligibility for multi-state licensing.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Preferred: 10+ years of multi-line claims experience and professional designations.
  • Preferred: Licensing in multiple states and experience across commercial and personal lines.
