AGCO is seeking a strategic and business-minded Senior Legal Counsel to support our North American operations. This role partners closely with business leaders, provides proactive legal guidance, and ensures compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Your Impact

• Provide expert legal counsel on contracts, compliance, privacy, labor and employment, dealer/franchise law, and emerging issues such as artificial intelligence.
• Lead and oversee contract lifecycle management ? including supervising contract administrators, creating and refining templates, negotiating terms, and improving processes ? in collaboration with Purchasing, other departments, and global legal teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements to align with business goals and mitigate risk.
• Develop, implement, and maintain company policies that address legal and regulatory obligations.
• Research and interpret laws and regulations, offering practical risk assessments and actionable recommendations.
• Manage external counsel and deliver internal legal training programs to strengthen compliance and legal awareness.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience ? in-house or in private practice.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple areas of law and adapt to changing business needs.
