The responsible person will contribute as a key analyst supporting both production and implementation tasks/activities. The analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, planning, developing, testing, documenting, and implementing processes within a variety of business units.

As SAP PP specialist, the candidate should have a good functional knowledge in standard SAP Production modules along with integration with other SAP modules.

He/she should be very familiar with the Manufacturing processes. He/She should be comfortable with components of SAP PP such as BOM ( PP-BD-BOM), Production version, Work Center, Routings ,Production Planning Cycle & the concerned dataset ( table structure).

Work with business users to interpret and refine business requirements on projects.

Translate business requirements into designs and specifications that consider business process, industry trends and SAP best practices.

As lead of small efforts will act as project manager, business analyst, and technical lead.

On large efforts may fill a combination of business analyst, technical lead, or individual contributor role.

Lead or support all phases of testing including managing test data, devising test cases and resolving test findings.

Contribute to or lead training and documentation efforts in support of project work.

Support multiple business units.

Work with and coordinate across multiple technical teams.

Provide level three production support for issues and enhancement requests.

Provide analysis and estimates for upcoming tasks.

Demonstrate an understanding and proficiency in business analysis best practices as well as hands on SAP design and configuration.

Strong people skills, business skills and SAP skills are crucial for success.

Will apply lean principles to issue resolution, process improvement and product design.

Use technical and communication skills with business knowledge to own the successful resolution of business problems.

Needs to be able to communicate well with nontechnical business users at any levels or location.

Needs to be able to communicate well with technical team, both on and offshore.

Desired Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.

Ability to work well in a virtual team environment with peers; business partners and end users.

Self-directed and experienced with minimal management oversight.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers; peers and team members.

Must be highly organized and able to juggle multiple customer, business partners and business priorities.

Ability to lead in a fast-moving, high-pressure software development and deployment environment.

Ability to negotiate with business and resolve internal and external conflicts.

Experience/knowledge working in the Aerospace & Defense industry is a plus
