Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the robust cloud and infrastructure systems that support our cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology. In this role, you will manage cloud platforms, optimize network performance, and ensure high availability and security for mission-critical systems. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, implement automation for scalability, and drive innovation in infrastructure solutions tailored to the demands of autonomous vehicle development and operation.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

Experience with Linux, bash commands/terminal and Ubuntu

Fluency with project planning

Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deployment, management, and optimization of cloud resources

Strong knowledge of network architecture, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and troubleshooting complex network issues

Proficient in securing cloud and on-premise systems, including implementing IAM, firewalls, intrusion detection, and incident response protocols.

Advanced skills in Linux and Windows Server Administration

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Nagios, or Prometheus

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

Excellent programming skills in Python or a similar language

Collaboration on large software stacks, and experience in Git

Education and Experience:

Degree in CS, IT, CE, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Math, or equivalent

2+ Years in an IT or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Role

AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred
