About the role:

As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will be designing training solutions, engaging with stakeholders to understand their business needs, and attending Design Workshops where you will deliver exciting ideas that will have the greatest impact on learners: these could include e-learning courses, interactive workbooks, games, animations or a combination of ALL these things. You will guide a team of Graphic Designers, Programmers, and Instructional Designers through the project to ensure that training solutions are creative, captivating, modern and will create a measurable change in our clients' organizations.

You will also use AI tools (specifically ChatGPT) throughout the production process, including generating creative ideas, creating course outlines, producing design documents, creating content, reviewing scripts and much more.

Responsibilities will include:

• Designing learning experiences that are high-quality, highly creative, and impactful using AI tools every step of the way- from concept to production.
• Working with stakeholders to understand their requirements and preferences and designing training materials to meet their needs, using AI to generate fresh ideas.
• Providing learning consultancy where required.
• Leading Instructional Designers and subject matter experts across the content team to develop e-learning course content using our AI tools.
• Analysing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating online learning and support solutions based on the stakeholder requirements using different digital media appropriate to their needs.
• Working with Instructional Designers on instructional, graphic and assessment design across multiple learning project workflows simultaneously, within stipulated standards, resources, and deadlines.
• Guiding and mentoring Instructional Designers and providing actionable feedback on scripts and other deliverables, as well as promoting the continued use of AI tools.
• Displaying strong versatile creative writing skills and guiding the team to write for a variety of training materials including e-learning, workbooks, games, animations, etc.
• Running creative meetings to keep projects on-track.
• Designing for multiple delivery methods.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience in an Instructional Design role, with 2 years+ working in a senior capacity.
• Experience using ChatGPT to create world-class content that feels personal and unique.
• Experience working with a range of corporate clients and internal stakeholders.
• Portfolio of high-quality work that shows versatility and creativity.
• Good knowledge of other AI tools, as well as a strong desire to keep ahead of new AI developments.
• BA or equivalent experience.
• Excellent English creative writing skills.
• Strong views about how best to communicate information to a diverse audience.
• An eye for good visual design.
• Excellent communication skills with professional fluency in English speaking, writing, comprehension.
