Job Profile:
Amagi is currently looking for a hands on Technical Engineer to work with the Onboarding
project management team and Tech Leads and focus on delivery and monetization of video
streams and VOD assets based on the pre-defined specifications as received from the pre-sales
and solution architecture team.

Job Responsibilities:
Configure encoders- Zixi/ZenMaster, SRT Gateway, Ateme, AWSMedialive
Configure CDNs- Cloudfront, Limelight, EdgeCast, Akamai etc
Configure SSAI systems - Amagi Thunderstorm V1 and V2
Generate and Configure Ad Tags
AWS networking - VPC creation and peering, security groups etc.
Coordinate closely with Onboarding project managers as well as external stakeholders like
Development/Testing team to deploy needed solutions.
Debug any issues and be proactive in finding solutions in coordination with Tech Leads,
Customer/Platform Teams and/or internal Devops or Engineering Teams
Understand in and out of amagi products
Be involved in external communications, like getting into calls along with Project Manager to
understand specific requirements.
Ready to work in shifts.
Ensure no defects and test thoroughly before marking any task as done
Participate in daily standups and routine reporting on project progress and issues to internal stakeholders
Drive customer satisfaction by delivering systems to an agreed specification

Job Requirements:
We are growing fast and we believe that people need to be together to collaborate and accelerate
that growth. The candidate has to be willing to work from the Amagi Headquarters. Most of our
customers are in the US and Europe, so the candidate is expected to work in Night hours.

Required Skills:
Extensive knowledge on stream deliveries to OTT platforms using HLS/DASH encoders,
CDNs and SSAI systems is required.
Knowledge of stream delivery over internet technologies - SRT, Zixi, HLS, DASH
Knowledge of AWS media services - Medialive, Mediastore, MediaTailor etc
Knowledge of delivering Media through various CDN - Akamai, Cloudfront, Limelight etc
Knowledge of Server Side Ad Insertion Technologies and knowledge of how Ad Querying
using VAST works
Prior experience on SSAI systems like Yospace or Mediatailor
Knowledge of how EPG works
Good Communication Skills
Knowledge of various video codecs and standards
Fundamental knowledge of how playout systems work
Good Interpersonal Skills
Good Communication Skills

Education/Qualifications:
B.Tech or MCA Degree in Computer Science / IT / ECE / EEE
