About the Role:

We invite you to join our dynamic Corporate Controllership team, supporting financial accounting, planning, and analysis for a Fortune 150 $30Bn revenue company with over 130,000 employees in sixty countries. This role offers the opportunity to interact with senior business and finance leaders globally, leveraging tools like PeopleSoft, TM1, OneStream, Savant, and PowerBI. You will prepare presentations for management, work with large data sets and diverse reporting solutions, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Support accounting, analysis, and reporting activities for the Corporate Controllership team.

Assist in the monthly close process, coordinating with Segment Accounting Teams, Business Finance, and Shared Services.

Conduct moderate to complex reconciliations, analysis with research to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports using companywide accounting and compensation information.

Contribute to key accounting projects and deliverables, ensuring reporting accuracy and meeting departmental deadlines.

Prepare key internal financial reports and partner with Business Finance (FP&A) to explain accounting variances.

Prepare presentations for management and work with large accounting data sets to create and support dashboards.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3+

years of relevant experience.

Advanced finance certification like CPA or MBA preferred, but not required.

Experience with compensation, stock plans, payroll, or benefits is a plus.

Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards (FASB).

Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Understanding of accounting and bookkeeping concepts.

Ability to forecast and prepare budgets.

Ability to analyze forecasts and explain variances in contrast with actual accounting-basis results.

Aptitude for preparing reports and communicating conclusions.
