What role will you play as a member of the Colgate?s Information Technology team?

Seeking a skilled and experienced

Sr Full Stack developer to join and lead the team. As a Sr Full stack manager you will

designing, planning, and developing

different functionalities and processes within the software landscape.

This person will provide their guidance and direction to other developers across the globe within the Agile Scrum Team and help to define standard methodologies and design decisions.

This position should be able to learn new technologies and tie business processes and requirements to full end to end designs. The ideal candidate has experience solving complex business problems at scale.

We are seeking a Sr Full Stack Developer within our Data Platforms Development team to develop and deliver innovative consumer grade applications to support our global taskforce.

This role will involve planning, design, development and maintenance of our frontend and backend. The ideal candidate is very self-motivated, data-driven, and can work well both independently and within a team. They are a self-starter - eager to learn new technologies and consider security, performance and user interface implications in their designs.

The candidate should be comfortable in playing a lead role towards the evolution of technology deployments across the global footprint.

Who are you?

You are a Technical expert and a people Manager

This position would drive the following :

Lead diverse skilled People

Develop web services to support our Development Teams

Develop consumer grade web based applications

Improve test coverage of existing code bases

Lead tasks of junior developers

Work closely with internal team and external partners to ensure new developments align with roadmap and integrate seamlessly with other platform components

Collaborate with project partners and the agile team to ensure all requirements are met

Support ongoing development for existing projects/applications

Your proficiency in leading end to end of Software development and deployment, will help to drive the desired outcomes for the product.

You will connect the dots by aligning with various work stream leads across different stack of the product.

What you'll need?(Required)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree

6+ years of experience designing and deploying end to end web applications.

At least 3+years of experience with full product life cycle releases

Expertise of web technologies, networking, debugging

Deep understanding of the CPython environment, Python programming, and Python packaging

Solid experience applying test driven development methodologies to evolving business problems

Experience with Python programming (Django experience is a plus)

Experience with relational database technologies and data modeling

Experience developing frontend web applications in JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, or Vue

Experience optimizing and scaling code in a production environment

Experience developing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience running source code with git

Knowledge of and experience applying security DevSecOps polices

Excellent diagnostic skills

What you'll need?(Preferred):

Experience with containerization, Docker, or Kubernetes

Experience with event-driven systems, streaming analytics, and distributed systems

Experience working on Agile/SCRUM development teams

Experience with static and multifaceted analysis toolsets

Previous experience in a CPG company commercial experience

Experience of using user centric design and applying User Experience concepts
