Candidate Responsibilities Include:
- Work with internal team, outside counsel, family and clients to create estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, durable power of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Review and summarize trust and key estate planning documents.
- Advise on and implement estate tax minimization strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Manage the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and client wishes.
- Negotiate, prepare and finalize business transactions, including the formation of LLCs, corporations, and partnerships, and preparation of associated documentation.
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders on complex legal matters and provide high-quality legal advice to clients.
- Manage estate admin process including working with counsel on probate matters, prep of 706, etc.
- Advise clients on gifting strategies and rules.
- Stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Implement and manage estate planning software to assist in estate planning.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and/or estate administration.
- Maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up.
- Strong knowledge of estate tax laws and strategies for tax minimization.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects efficiently and effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
- Solid understanding of key financial concepts and can communicate them effectively.
- Thrive in collaborative environments and foster strong relationships within your team.
- Ability to provide excellent client service and manage client relationships with professionalism.
