AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Senior Engineer.

This role will focus on developing new concepts and technology for Agricultural Machinery including tractors, planters, and combines. The Project engineer will design and develop assistance systems such as Non-GNSS guidance systems, paving the way for robotics and unmanned agricultural machines.

Utilize machine learning and computer vision to enhance environmental perception and manage image annotation tasks.

Work with a variety of sensors, including cameras, radars, and lidars, to advance autonomy and robotics in agricultural machinery.

Your Impact

Develop Computer Vision algorithms and train and validate machine learning models to solve agricultural problems.

Coordinate Annotation tasks with internal or external partners and Collaborate with Global R&AE, Agronomy, and Product Engineering teams.

Provide technical guidance to various departments.

Develop and deliver proof of concepts for further development.

Create patentable design features to maintain competitive advantage.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Proficiency in C/C++ and Python

Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Knowledge of agricultural equipment, agronomy and farming practices

2+ years' experience with:

Image processing tools (OpenCV, Matlab)

Machine learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
