For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer/Consultant, remotely from Canada.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve DevOps practices for various clients. As a Senior DevOps Engineer/Consultant, you will take ownership of guiding and coaching clients through their DevOps transformations, while utilizing your expertise in cloud-native technologies and infrastructure automation. Your experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and infrastructure-as-code will be instrumental in driving change and delivering impactful solutions. You will also mentor and train others, ensuring the sustainable growth of engineering teams.

Accountabilities:

• Lead DevOps transformations and guide clients in adopting modern engineering practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Provide hands-on guidance and support in implementing cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Istio.
• Foster collaboration within teams and across clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Mentor and upskill client engineering teams on best practices for automation, CI/CD, and developer behaviors.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in DevOps practices with expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and Istio.
• Strong understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor teams and clients effectively.
• Ability to tackle complex technical challenges and drive solutions with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with modern source control management systems and branching strategies.
