The?Senior?Buyer?will?assure?compliance?with?company?policies,?applicable?government?regulations?and?laws?and?the?higher?of?ethical'standards?while?establishing'sources?for?quality?conforming?materials?and'services?with?competitive?pricing?and?timely?deliveries.The?Senior?Buyer?person?will?continually'seek?new?and?alternative?ideas,?products,?and?materials?whose?adoption?might?improve?company?efficiency?and?profitability.This?person?will'support?the?development?of?new?company?products?by?involving'suppliers?in?the?initial?design.

Responsibilities:

Analyze?and?process?inventory?and?non-inventory?(sometimes?referred?to?as?"Non-Production")?requisitions?to?determine?the?appropriate'source?of'supply
Perform?purchase?order?administration?to?assure?timely?deliveries?of?products?and'services
Conduct?the?appropriate?level?of?price/cost?analysis?to?obtain?the?most?favorable?economic?purchase.Cost?reductions?will?be?critical.This?position?will?take?the?lead?on?non-inventory?activities
Maintain?database?for?assigned'suppliers?to?assure?data?base?integrity?while?ensuring'suppliers

Minimum?of?five?years?progressively?responsible?purchasing?related?experiences?in?a?manufacturing?environment
