Job Description
Gibbons is seeking a senior real estate attorney to join the firm?s Real Property Group in either its Newark, NJ or New York, NY office. Salary range for 2017 -2021 law school graduate is $180,000- $205,000. Requirements:
- At least four (4) years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney handling complex lending transactions
- Significant experience with commercial real estate financing (preferably borrower side), including experience independently negotiating substantive provisions of loan agreements, guarantees and other loan documents
- Significant experience with commercial leasing (landlord and tenant side), including the ability to independently review and negotiate sophisticated commercial leases
- Experience with negotiating purchase and sale agreements in connection with complex acquisitions and dispositions
- Experience with redevelopment work in New Jersey considered a bonus
- Admission in New Jersey or New York, or both is required
