Senior Accountant

Our facility offers unparalleled shooting sports experiences, and we are looking for a dedicated accounting professional who thrives on accuracy and detail.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. You will collaborate closely with the Controller as well as other departments to ensure that our financial practices support our business objectives and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Complete the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations based on financial performance.
• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded and documented.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and assist in addressing any findings.
• Stay current with accounting technology and implement processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support team development by mentoring junior accounting staff and providing training on accounting best practices.
• Ensure all AP and AR are completed on time and maximize our terms.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Online and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
