Senior Accountant

Evolving Systems Networks India Pvt Ltdis a leading private company in India, committed to excellence in our industry. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Transaction Management:

Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

Analyze employee time sheets and ensure proper allocation of costs.

2. Transfer Pricing:

Assist in the preparation and review of transfer pricing invoices.

Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and guidelines.

5. Taxation and Filings:

Expertise in TDS provisions and filings.

Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns.

Manage quarterly advance tax filings and ensure timely submissions.

6. Customs and Import Procedures:

Prepare Form-A for customs and manage the import of materials.

Knowledge of STPI procedures and filings.

3. Audit Coordination:

Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual audits.

Provide necessary documentation and support during audits.

4.Account Reconciliation:

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

Compare monthly bank statements and sign off on monthly bank reconciliations to prepare bank reconciliation statements.

5.Compliance and Standards

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Perform periodic balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations.

6.Accounts Payable and Receivable

Maintain sound knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Strong understanding of TDS, GST, and STPI procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.

Proficiency in accounting software -Sage Intaact

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

Candidates based in Bangalore who can visit the office occasionally.
