The Role
The _Vehicle Mechatronic Embedded Controls (VMEC) Body Controls Secure Vehicle Access ART (Agile Release Train)_ has openings for _Scrum Managers_ on the _Authentication and Access_ team. The VMEC Body Controls team develops some of General Motors? most customer-facing features, which are used across our portfolio of electric, internal combustion and autonomous vehicles. Specifically, the _Authentication and Access_ scrum teams develop and maintain the software for all vehicle access and authentication.
We are seeking creative, highly motivated, agile thinkers with passion and expertise in Controls and Software, and great attention to detail. The selected candidate will lead the development of _vehicle access_ software, to keep General Motors at the forefront of technology in this area.
In the role of _Scrum Manager_ , you will be collaborating with several other areas of engineering and the business (Engineering Stakeholders, Customers and the Product Management Team) to breakdown technical solutions into workable and deliverable chunks. This role requires the highest level of leadership and technical background.
This position is classified as a Hybrid position, meaning the successful candidate will work in office a minimum of three (3) days per week.
