The Role:

Location: Sandy, UTand on-site at various customer sites throughout the Salt Lake Valley area

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025

• Inspecting, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing mechanical and electronic weighing equipment.

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites.

• Working directly with clients throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates to services needed

• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.

• Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.

• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
• Ability and willingness to travel to customers locations throughout the Salt Lake Valley (Ogden to Provo)

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain CDL class Bcompany-paid (Applicant must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience

• Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment

• Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems

• Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields

• Technical Degree or Certificate

• Military PMEL Training

• Metrology experience

• Experience with IndySoft
