Job PurposeWe are seeking experienced SAP BW/4HANA Consultants to provide technical assistance and consultation services in support of an S/4HANA upgrade project . Consultants will collaborate with executive sponsors, agency staff, vendors, and partners to ensure the design, implementation, and ongoing operations of SAP-related systems meet business and technical needs.
This role will focus on system analysis, maintenance, enhancements, documentation, testing, and knowledge transfer related to SAP BW/4HANA and functional SAP applications.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance and guidance for the S/4HANA upgrade project, aligning with strategic goals.
- Periodically review and update Operations and Maintenance sections of the Enterprise Project Plan.
- Record project activities using project management and incident management tools.
- Conduct impact analyses for support requests and proposed system changes.
- Attend and lead meetings; prepare supporting documentation including agendas, minutes, decision papers, and presentations.
- Generate reports and provide opinions for decision-making, audits, and inquiries from State and Federal agencies.
- Assist program staff with performance data analysis, trends, and accountability metrics.
- Analyze and resolve Level 2 support issues, break-fix problems, and root cause analyses.
- Support software updates and installation, including impact assessment and testing.
- Document and maintain functional requirements, traceability, and system access controls.
- Create, update, and execute test scripts; document test results and validate outcomes.
- Develop and enhance workflows, forms, business rules, and design specifications.
- Maintain batch processing, system interfaces, and support resolution of processing failures.
- Assist with database maintenance and production system analysis.
- Mentor department staff and external partners, supporting skills transfer and system knowledge sharing.
- Update user training materials and documentation as needed.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the following:
- SAP BW/4HANA
- Functional SAP experience
- Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
- Requirements gathering
- Functional design documentation
- Resource planning
- Testing (UAT/System/Integration)
- Implementation and post-go-live support
- Ongoing maintenance and enhancements
- SAP Business Warehouse on HANA (BW on HANA)
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles
- S/4HANA architecture and core components
- BW/4HANA structure and capabilities
- Familiarity with FDOR CAMS systems
- SAP BW/4HANA certifications
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Warehouse functionalities
- Background in Child Support Programs
- Understanding of federal reporting standards
- Performance accountability metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience .
- SAP-related certifications are a plus.
