Salesforce Developer

We are looking for an experienced developer who has experience with both Vlocity and Salesforce. This role will be required to understand current configuration of Vlocity and help to manage how to transition and configure products and pricing directly into Salesforce. This individual will need to be passionate about solving problems through iterative designs and implementations of various products based on business expectations and requirements.

The position will encompass a wide variety of technologies and a diverse team to interact with. This position will help to transition a current strategy of supporting product and pricing strategies away from Vlocity and helping to configure Salesforce to be the primary platform to support the business going forward. This role will work directly with other consultants and employee developers, this role will need to be a subject matter expert on helping to direct the entire team on how to best implement in Salesforce as the transition from Vlocity takes place.

Requirements

This individual will be responsible for working with a team of client and partner personnel to design, implement, and consult on the migration of Vlocity functionality and capabilities to native Salesforce capabilities.

The role will be required to design highly efficient and maintainable code throughout the project, Refactor and improve maintainability of the codebase.

It will also be important for this individual to own, troubleshoot and resolve code defects from their individual work while also learning new paradigms, methodologies, languages, and libraries as this individual completes the work.

Essential skills:

Salesforce Platform Expertise:

Proficiency in Salesforce platform including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud. Understanding of Salesforce architecture and key components.

Apex Programming:

Strong skills in Apex language for developing custom business logic. Experience with Apex Triggers, Classes, and Batch Apex.

Visualforce and Lightning Components:

De velopment experience with Visualforce pages and Lightning Components.

Familiarity with Lightning Web Components (LWC) for modern Salesforce development.

Salesforce Configuration:

Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration including workflows, process builders, and validation rules.

Proficiency in setting up and managing Salesforce objects, fields, and relationships.

Vlocity Platform Expertise:

Understanding of Vlocity DataRaptor, OmniScript, and Vlocity Integration Procedures.

Vlocity Configuration Experience:

Hands-on experience with Vlocity configuration and customization.

Ability to design and implement Vlocity business processes and workflows.

OmniStudio Skills:

Proficiency in Vlocity OmniStudio for building custom user interfaces and guided interactions. Experience with OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCards.

Integration Skills:

Knowledge of Salesforce integration with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

Experience with middleware platforms like MuleSoft for complex integrations.

Strong skills in integrating Vlocity with Salesforce core platform.

Experience with Salesforce and Vlocity data models and integration patterns.

Security and Compliance:

Understanding of Salesforce security model including roles, profiles, and sharing rules.

General Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services, JSON, HTML, XML

Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Team player

Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and members of the business

Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle

Solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security

Nice to have? skills:

Familiarity with modern front-end technologies

Experience with CICD tools, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc

Experience with AWS and/or Asure and/or DevOps

Experience with working on an Agile environment

Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and best practices

Personal attributes:

At least minimum of 5 years experience

BSc in Computer Science or related field

Strong awareness of latest technology trends
