About the Internship

The Sales Operations Intern program is a mentorship-driven, hands-on learning experience designed to help you kickstart your career in business operations, sales enablement, and CRM management at a performance focused digital marketing agency. Over the course of this fully remote, part-time internship (20 hours per week) running from June to August, you will:

• Be paired with an experienced mentor on our Growth Team who will guide your learning and provide real-world insights into sales operations and CRM best practices.
• Participate in a group orientation during the first week to learn about Level's systems, processes, and creative approach to digital marketing.
• Conduct a full audit of assigned CRM records, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Build and refine three targeted prospect lists to enhance sales team efficiency and outreach effectiveness.
• Develop two automated reports or dashboards that track key sales metrics, improving visibility into pipeline performance and business trends.
• Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to improve CRM data hygiene and streamline reporting processes.
• Gain hands-on experience with CRM platforms and data analysis tools.
• Apply problem-solving and process improvement skills to optimize workflows and enhance team efficiency.
• Engage in weekly professional development training sessions and regular one-on-one check-ins with your manager to receive feedback, track progress, and refine your skills.
• Independently own a project focused on a key content initiative, providing a portfolio-worthy deliverable.
• Complete a final presentation to showcase your findings, insights, and contributions to sales operations.
• Have the potential opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and agency needs.

Your Impact

• CRM Data Audit : Review, clean, and organize assigned CRM records to improve data accuracy and usability for sales insights.
• Targeted Prospect Lists : Build and refine three high-quality prospect lists to enhance sales outreach and lead generation efforts.
• Automated Reporting : Develop two dashboards or automated reports that track key sales metrics and improve visibility for sales leadership.
• Process Optimization : Identify inefficiencies in CRM usage and sales reporting, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Collaboration & Learning : Work closely with sales and marketing teams, receiving hands-on experience in sales operations and data management.
• Final Project : Present key insights and recommendations to leadership, demonstrating the value of CRM optimization and sales process improvements.

Requirements

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables).
• Customer service, sales, or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inefficiencies.
• Comfortable learning and using new software/tools quickly.
• Strong written communication for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.

Expected Working Hours

Interns are expected to attend orientation and commit to a set schedule. There is the possibility of gaining schedule flexibility based on reliability and output throughout the internship.

• Monday - Friday averaging 20 hours per week from June 2nd, 2025 through August 22nd, 2025

• Orientation week 1: June 2nd - June 6th, 12pm-4pm ET
• Weeks 2-12: Interns must commit to either 9am-1pm ET or 1pm-5pm ET

Benefits

• This role reports to the AVP of Sales, Organic Growth. The hourly rate for this position is $17.50/hour .
