Job Description

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for the entering, updating and maintaining accurate data related to sales activities. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that all sales data is entered correctly and in a timely manner. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will report directly to the Head of Inside Sales

Your tasks:

• New customer creation and update changes to existing accounts in corporate database.
• Processing of customer invoices/freight charges.
• Investigate and troubleshoot charge and freight issues.
• Process customer credit terms requests.
• Support Accounts Receivable collections.
• Maintain customer related documents (Tax exempt certificates, resale certificates, W9, credit references, key contact information, etc.)
• Make outbound calls to existing customers via telephone, video chat, and E-Mail.
• Attend periodic training as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of direct work experience in data entry, team communication or customer service.
• Skills in any kind of ERP systems such as SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide quick responses to questions, needs and complaints.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
• Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
• High level of integrity and work ethic.
• Professional Skills at Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
