We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety Supervisor to join our team and lead our occupational health and safety efforts across the site. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in risk assessment , PPE compliance , health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices, and incident investigation . You will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with statutory and organizational standards, and mitigating risks to employees, contractors, and assets.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure strict compliance with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols across all departments and enforce proper usage.
• Monitor and promote adherence to HSE policies , procedures, and legal requirements.
• Lead the incident investigation process: collect evidence, identify root causes, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Organize and conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, and periodic safety training sessions.
• Collaborate with department heads and site managers to conduct periodic safety audits and workplace inspections.
• Maintain safety documentation, including incident reports, risk assessments, and safety records.
• Stay updated on industry safety trends and local regulations to proactively adjust internal practices.
• Foster a safety-first culture by engaging with employees at all levels and encouraging hazard reporting.
• Ensure emergency preparedness, including evacuation drills, fire drills, and readiness of first-aid teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a safety-focused role in a high-risk industry (e.g., manufacturing, construction, oil & gas).
• Strong working knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Proven expertise in risk assessment methodologies , hazard identification, and risk mitigation planning.
• In-depth understanding of PPE standards and regulatory compliance .
• Demonstrated experience in conducting thorough incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
• Solid grasp of HSE management systems and audit protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
• Ability to influence others and lead by example.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 are preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in safety management are a plus.
