Safety Engineer

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a safe working environment in various sectors including Oil & Energy. • Design and implement safety protocols and programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training to employees and contractors on safety practices and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with safety legislation and industry standards.
• Analyze safety data to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain comprehensive records and reports related to safety incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a safety engineering role.
• In-depth understanding of safety regulations, procedures, and practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are preferred.
