RF Electrical Engineer

Qualis LLC is excited to announce an opening for an RF Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Huntsville, AL office. This is an excellent opportunity to design and develop Radio Frequency (RF) systems for military and military-space applications within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with the design, development, and testing of electrical systems hardware for RF applications.
• Technical lead for electrical and embedded software engineering teams.
• Creating technical documentation including specifications, schematics, assembly procedures and test plans.
• Integration and testing of electronic systems.
• Testing of systems for verification and validation of requirements.
• Participate in project meetings as a technical lead and contribute to the overall engineering process.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and outcomes achieved.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, circuits, and systems.
• Experience with RF systems.
• Familiarity with tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, CAD software and simulation software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining a SECRET clearance.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills that support a collaborative work environment.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the electrical engineering field.
• Familiarity with CAD software for circuit design.
• Experience with developing embedded systems for rugged RF applications.
• Programming language experience with C/C++/C#.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810 qualification test requirements.
• Familiarity with Software Defined Radios is a plus.
