Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Revit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in using Revit software for architectural, structural, and MEP design and documentation. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modeling and Documentation:
- Develop detailed 3D models using Revit software for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Create and manage project documentation, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
- Ensure models are accurate, consistent, and compliant with project standards and requirements.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate and coordinate designs.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to ensure seamless integration of various building systems.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues or concerns.
- BIM Management:
- Maintain and manage Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM libraries and templates.
- Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Revit-related issues.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members to enhance their Revit skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated with the latest Revit software features, industry trends, and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8-9 years of hands-on experience with Revit software in the AEC industry.
- Proven track record of working on complex projects involving multiple disciplines.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit software and BIM workflows.
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Revit or BIM management.
- Experience with other design software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
- Familiarity with construction processes and site coordination
