Registration/Convention Services

StaffWerk is looking for enthusiastic and organized individuals to fill the role of Registration/Convention Services Staff. As a leading provider of temporary staffing solutions in the hospitality industry, StaffWerk is dedicated to ensuring seamless experiences for our clients and their attendees. In this role, you will be vital in facilitating smooth registration processes and providing excellent customer service during conventions and events.

• Greet and welcome attendees at registration areas, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere
• Assist with the registration process by checking in guests, distributing name badges, and providing event materials
• Accurately enter and update attendee information in registration systems or databases
• Respond to attendee inquiries and provide information about event schedules, locations, and services
• Manage cash and credit card transactions for registration fees, following established financial protocols
• Coordinate logistics for conventions, including directing attendees and communicating with other event staff
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the registration area and related materials
• Adhere to all event policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure a successful experience for attendees

Requirements

• Prior experience in registration, convention services, or customer service is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with attendees
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment and handle unexpected challenges
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members
