Join our compassionate team as a Registered Nurse (RN) within in our New Way Services (NWS) Division, where your expertise will provide essential support to residents living with acquired brain injuries (ABI) or chronic medical conditions like severe diabetes or multiple sclerosis. You'll play a key role in developing and overseeing personalized care plans, ensuring each resident receives the care and dignity they need.

New Way Services (NWS) supports individuals who are transitioning out of nursing homes or facing the challenges of acquired brain injuries or disabling medical conditions. Through a person-centered approach, we focus on enhancing independence, building skills, and promoting community engagement.

With manageable caseloads and the ability to build relationships with residents, this role offers the opportunity to blend clinical skills with personal connection.

What You'll Do:

  • Create, monitor, and manage comprehensive care plans for residents.
  • Conduct diabetes management, medication checks, and annual balances.
  • Oversee health services for 3-4 residential programs, including vitals and resident care plans.
  • Collaborate on whole-group staff training programs.
  • Participate in resident assessments and provide expert recommendations.
  • Provide on-site support for medical or triage needs as necessary.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Current and valid Massachusetts RN license.
  • At least one year of nursing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
