Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse will provide critical patient care during state-declared emergencies, working in dynamic settings such as Medical Special Needs Shelters (MSNS), Points of Dispensing Sites (PODS), urgent care centers, and Temporary Medical Operation Staging Areas (TMOSA).

• Shift Options: Day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or Night (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Emergency Response: Must be available to deploy within 12-24 hours of activation

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license in any U.S. state
• Experience: 1+ years in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care preferred
• Technical Skills: Patient assessment and triage, medication administration, emergency treatment protocols, basic life support (BLS/ACLS certified)
• Soft Skills: Adaptability in fast-changing environments, strong clinical judgment, crisis management abilities, team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and implement triage protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Monitor and document patient conditions
• Assist physicians with medical procedures
• Maintain infection control standards
• Provide patient and family education
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary emergency response teams
