Regional Sales Manager

Ideal candidate will be located in the Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville or Miami market

Role Purpose

Carrier Residential Services

is seeking an experienced Distribution Channel Management professional, who can oversee and participate in various sales and customer relationship management processes of residential products. Take responsibility for representing the company's interests and building business relationships at clients and to enhance the distribution channel management performance.

This is an individual contributor who can be based out of

Florida, with a focus on the Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville and Miami markets.

The

Regional Sales Manager

will travel 50% of the time in these above-mentioned areas.

Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for the sales of residential products, market growth and business development

Develop and influence channel growth strategies with distributor customers

Focus on increasing market share and improve customer relations

Assist and facilitate pricing requests, ensure products are competitively priced in the market and in alignment with channel strategy

Forecast distributor programs, sales and prepare budgets

Help the team to deliver an efficient customer experience in a detailed manner

Implementation of process improvement/operational agility initiatives

Determine the customer's needs and to drive best solutions.

Act as a primary contact to identify prospective for distribution and channel management teams and develops a professional relationship to understand the customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet the customer needs.

Conducts business development activities for distribution and channel management teams within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.

Leads bid opportunities, participates in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers.

Develops and promotes new customer contact leads for the sales business development team.

Proactively supports and develops prospective projects with assigned customers and presents to sales business development team.

Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities. Develops customer presentations for specific customer needs

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

5+ years of sales, product management, or marketing experience

Ability to pass an MVR background check

Preferred Requirements:

Master?s Degree

HVAC industry and sales experience

Passion for servicing customers

English communication (written and verbal) skills across a wide audience

Above-average follow-up and follow-through skills

Ability to learn quickly and to apply and extrapolate this to other functional areas

Listen to customer needs and show passion for servicing customers

Act promptly to solve problems, go above and beyond to exceed expectations

Adaptability in changing business priorities

Team-oriented perspective, able to work well with others and accommodate others' point of view

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong desire to learn and grow professionally

Problem-solving, analytical, and conflict/issue resolution skills

Organized with strong attention to detail

Manage multiple priorities

Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities. Develops customer presentations for specific customer needs
