Real Estate Transactional and Environmental Counsel/Associate Corporate & Capital Markets

We strive to be enterprising, respectful, inclusive, insightful, and tenacious in every aspect of our business, including our interactions with clients, colleagues, and the communities where we have a presence. We rely on these core values to serve clients in key practice areas and industries ? the pillars of Brown Rudnick: crisis management, which includes restructuring, investigations, and special situations; global litigation; life sciences; technology; and brand and reputation protection.

Brown Rudnick is seeking a talented attorney at the associate or counsel level with at least 5 years of experience practicing environmental and real estate law to join its Real Estate, Energy & Environmental Practice Group in the Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Massachusetts environmental law and a strong track record advising clients on land use, zoning, and regulatory permitting matters. A background that includes work related to RCRA, CERCLA, and agency enforcement actions is particularly valuable. In addition to core environmental experience, candidates with a general real estate transactional background and familiarity with construction law will be well suited for this role. Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, or development agreements will be considered a plus.

Brown Rudnick represents sophisticated, large, national, multinational, and regional clients with complex legal matters in a variety of areas including real estate developers, industrial facilities, manufacturers, owners, utilities, and energy producers. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team on complex, high-impact matters that influence development and environmental strategy across Massachusetts and beyond.
