Jones Day is seeking an ambitious mid-level associate to join its national Real Estate Finance team. Qualified candidates should have 3 - 8 years of law firm experience working on sophisticated real estate lending transactions. Exposure to balance sheet bank lending work preferred, but not required. Additionally, candidates should have excellent drafting and negotiations skills, superior academic background and a desire for teamwork, significant responsibility and client interaction. The Real Estate Finance practice is closely integrated across the U.S., and accordingly candidates will be considered who can work from one of the following office locations: New York, DC, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Cleveland, San Francisco, Los Angeles or Irvine. The salary range for this role in the Chicago office is $260,000 - $550,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
