Real Estate Associate

Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking an associate to join our Real Estate Department in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of commercial real estate experience with a track record of negotiating, managing and closing acquisitions, dispositions and related financings. In this role, you will also support the Debt Finance practice and gain commercial transactions experience, with an emphasis on financing, including all aspects of commercial lending, strong transactional skills, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment with attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be motivated to play an important role in growing an active and entrepreneurial practice, demonstrate initiative, possess a willingness and ability to assume direct responsibility for client matters, and will have the interpersonal skills to work well as part of a collaborative team.
