What will you be doing?
Examine raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified criteria.Perform visual inspections, measurements and various tests to identify defects or deviations from standards.Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conforming products.Report defects to relevant personnel.Communicate with production, engineering and management to provide feedback on quality issues and collaborate on solutions.Train production workers on quality standards and inspection techniques.Conduct final inspection to ensure products meet all quality standards.Cross train in production to fill in gaps

Attention to detail
Verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of basic math and computer skillsHighschool diploma or equivalent
J-Standard certified preferred
IPC620 certified preferred
1 year of quality inspector experience in a manufacturing environment minimum
Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, drop gauges, and measuring microscope
Able to read drawings/specifications and be able to interpret requirements
