QA Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products by performing thorough testing and identifying potential issues before release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing to identify software issues.
• Document and report bugs clearly and concisely using tools like Jira or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure requirements are met.
• Validate fixes and ensure resolved issues do not reoccur.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to QA processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development and testing processes.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic understanding of automation tools or willingness to learn.
