QA Engineer

VSI Infotech LLP is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our innovative team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in our software development process by ensuring our products are robust, reliable, and meet quality standards. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies, executing various types of tests (including functional, performance, and regression), and documenting the results. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality software solutions. You will closely work with developers and other stakeholders to uphold our commitment to excellence in software quality.

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing across different stages of development, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Identify, report, and track defects and issues, working with development teams to facilitate resolutions.
• Review project documentation to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to discussions around improving team processes and quality.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing tools.
• Create detailed and clear documentation for testing processes and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is preferred.
• Ability to write clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing is advantageous.
