QA Automation Manager

Lead dynamic, self-organized agile teams to deliver high-quality software applications using the best quality engineering tools and practices.

Define and enforce quality standards and processes across all agile application teams.

Maintain regression, release, and project-level test cases for all applications.

Execute test cycles and record results using tools such as Zephyr, JIRA, and Confluence.

Automate critical test cases, run them regularly, triage test results, and create JIRA issues for failures.

Track and report test coverage of various applications.

Provide training and guidance to 10 to 15 manual, automation, and load testing engineers/architects.

Develop a quality analysis strategy to improve test coverage, reduce test case management costs, and decrease test execution time.

Propose and implement improvements to culture, process, tools, quality standards, and practices.

Interact with stakeholders to analyze, design, create test plans, and develop test suites for complex projects supporting Victra's entire business.

Capture and track application support issues reported by business stakeholders.

Serve as a general subject matter expert for development staff and business community members.

Actively participate in learning activities such as lunch and learns, book clubs, and training sessions.

Drive results with the ability to balance all functions within your role.

Mentor and develop team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an Associate Degree in Programming desired.

Experience in using automation tools such as Test Complete is required.

Experience with test case management tools such as Zephyr is required.

Experience analyzing and testing a complex set of applications is required.

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure is required.

Ability to write SQL, HTML, and JavaScript is preferred.

Experience in the automation of test cases, load testing, and performance testing is required.
