Publishing Technology Manager/Lead

Job Overview:

We are looking for US based Publishing Technology Lead whowill serve as a subject matter expert on Adobe InDesign and related publishing tools, providing advanced technical support, driving process enhancements, and collaborating cross-functionally across teams. This role is pivotal in maintaining the reliability and quality of publishing operations by resolving complex technical issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the team is aligned with the latest developments in publishing technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for Adobe InDesign, associated plugins, and publishing workflows.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated technical issues and improve publishing operations.

• Develop, document, and promote best practices for support processes, workflows, and tool usage.

• Coordinate with Adobe and third-party vendors for resolution of critical technical issues.

• Assist in onboarding and training of new vendors and technical staff.

• Monitor support metrics and contribute to SLA compliance by proactively resolving bottlenecks.

• Stay current with Adobe Creative Cloud updates and lead efforts to upskill the broader publishing support team.

• Oversee technical setup for new projects, including sample preparation, user access configuration, and ID creation.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in publishing workflows and tool integration.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in technical support or publishing technology roles with increasing responsibility.

• Deep expertise in Adobe InDesign and Creative Cloud applications.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.

• Experience with support tools, ticketing systems, and publishing workflows.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and lead technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with Windows/macOS; scripting experience (e.g., JavaScript for InDesign) is a plus.
